I am not interested in that position right now, but I 'do' have experience with seeing artists (and YouTubers) struggle with the very concept of 'self-publishing' to a degree that it could only be described as 'self-_sabotage_'.

I have collected some advice in a playlist, but since those are rather stingy with how much text you can fit, don't expect a 'comprehensive guide':

Successful creative people often share their insights and describe in great detail what they have done and what has and 'hasn't' worked "back then". Look up interviews and learn from them. Even if the times have changed, the audience you are trying to reach still consists of 'people' - who do not change that quickly...
